Strengthening Women's Political Communication in the MENA Region

WoMena, an AHLN initiative, organized a training workshop on political communication and women’s leadership in Rabat, Morocco, in June 2025. The event was supported by SILC, and moderated by Mrs. Loubna Amhair, Chair of #WoMENA and President of INLW Morocco. Mr. Lahcen Bouchmama, a journalist and communications consultant, provided participants with key insights into how to develop targeted communications in pursuing political leadership roles. 

This training represented a part of a dynamic, regional transformation that aims to increase women’s representation in the political sphere. The event brought together women representatives of several AHLN members and was a tremendous opportunity for women in politics to enhance their public speaking skills, develop personal branding, and craft effective strategies for advocacy and crisis management.
